How It Works
Unfiltered liquid is pumped into the sparkler filter press housing under pressure. The liquid passes through a stack of circular filter discs or plates coated with a filter aid (such as diatomaceous earth or perlite). As the liquid flows through the filter media, suspended solids, yeast cells, and particulates are captured on the disc surface while the clarified liquid exits through the outlet. When the filter discs reach capacity, the press is cleaned and new filter media is applied. The process can be repeated for multiple filtration cycles.
